1. Estate Manager

Sizewell Hall Christian Conference Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Estate Manager to manage the maintenance of the Hall and project manage new developments on the site.

The Job:
• Ensure that the Sizewell Hall Estate is maintained to the highest possible standard within the budget.
• Project manage any new developments on the site.
• Manage any contractors or volunteers working on the site.
• Serve our guests, suppliers and our community in modelling Christian love, care and compassion in the way that they are treated.

The Person:
• Fully committed to Sizewell Hall’s mission and Christian ethos, and therefore evangelical in conviction and active in local church membership.
• Understanding and experience in in project managing preferably in the context of building projects.
• Well organised.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to undertake simple building maintenance.
• Experience and ability in managing contract workers
• Ability and experience in recruiting and managing volunteers
• Ability to work within a budget
• Ability and experience in putting together plans for new building and maintenance projects
• Willingness to change and ability to manage change
• Ability to communicate effectively with different groups of people e.g. Trustees, guests, volunteers, contractors.
• An understanding and experience of managing Health and Safety
• Excellent listener

Salary: £20,000-£25,000 including suitable accommodation on site as part of the package.

2. Bookings and Accounts Co-ordinator

Sizewell Hall Christian Conference Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and organised Bookings and Accounts Co-ordinator to be the first point of contact with group leaders running events at Sizewell Hall

The Job:

The Person:

Salary: This is a part time role of 2.5 days. There is some flexibility in how the hours are worked. The salary is in the range of £9,000-£12,000 (i.e. £18,000 – 24,000 FTE)

Place of work:   Working from home but travelling to Sizewell Hall from time to time.
