Estate Maintenance Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed individual to join the Sizewell Hall Staff Team as an all-round Maintenance Worker to help with a wide variety of projects and tasks around the Sizewell Hall Estate.

The Job:
Responsible for general repairs and ongoing maintenance of the buildings and grounds at Sizewell Hall. Project management of new projects alongside the Centre Manager. Part of the Duty Manager rota, providing on-call support for groups/churches using the hall for conferences.

The Person:
•    Commitment to the aims and Christian Ethos of Sizewell Hall.
•    Experience of maintaining grounds, buildings and/or estates
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks, possessing good organisation skills.
•    Ability to undertake maintenance work
•    Experience in managing volunteers (Desirable)
•    Good IT Skills
•    Ability to work within a budget
•    A servant heart and cooperative attitude when engaging with peers & board members
•    Able to engage with a wide range of people and build rapport.

Salary and Working Hours
•    Office working hours are flexible and will involve some evening and weekend work The total hours worked per week will average 30 hours.
•    Salary £18,000 (FTE £24,000) with accommodation provided
