Hall Facilities
The Hall situated in 32 acres of woodland. The front of the Hall has beautiful views of the sea. It is fully carpeted and centrally heated. The accommodation comprises 32 bedrooms with up to 90 beds (In some bedrooms we can put up extra beds.) over two floors. We also have cots for the very young. There are toilets and wet rooms throughout each floor and a platform lift to all floors.
The dining room has original oak panelled walls and can easily seat 90 people. High chairs are available for those who need them. Off the dining room is a patio and barbeque facilities for the warmer months.
The family feeling is enhanced by the lounge which has an open fire place to create a warm atmosphere within the room. Off of the lounge is the library which has a spectacular view of the sea front. The games room to the back of the Hall has different varieties of games which include table tennis, a pool table and many others.
Within the grounds are a woodland walk and children’s play area. The grassed areas are suitable for a variety of games as well as just sitting and relaxing in. There is also a private access to the beach below the hall. During the warmer months residents can sit and relax on the furnished patio area, which also has a sea outlook.
The conference room which is situated above the library also has the stunning sea view and is equipped with audio visual equipment, as well as having various musical instruments.
Our shop is well stocked with Bibles, books, greeting cards, gifts. As well as sweets and ice creams should you get peckish between meals!
We are aware that there are so many ways that God uses Sizewell. There are many testimonies reflecting the lives of those who come and stay. Many come to faith, or recommit themselves to God. For some God speaks to them about what he wants them to do for Him in the future. For many it gives time to stop and reflect on what God has done for them. It is not rare to hear of people being baptised in the sea, while they are here.
